Welcome to KD2HKB’s home on the web, my name is Matthew. I am an amateur radio operator located in central upstate New York. I was issued my license in November of 2014. Ham Radio, as it is called, has been a very educational, challenging and thought provoking, yet completely FUN hobby that I have enjoyed immensely over the course of the past year.
Now, in furthering my education, I am in the process of building a repeater system. To start with, I have applied and been approved for a Yaesu System Fusion repeater. Once I receive it, and get the coordination process completed, I will get that repeater on the air. In due time, I hope to be able to build a little repeater system which will link my repeater with other repeaters in the area and across the country.
